spousal assistance and moreMinimum Requirements:3 years of Heavy Equipment Experience (operating cable or hydraulic shovels, excavators, dozers, graders, or haul trucks in an open pit mine)High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) or 10 years of relevant work experienceValid driver's license and a 2-year clean driving recordProven safety mindsetThe ability to concentrate and maintain focus for long periods of timeResponsibilities:Operate various makes and models of haul trucks, shovels, backhoes, dozers, and/or graders in adherence to our standards and proceduresComplete walk-arounds, safety checks and field level risk assessments and ensure the heavy equipment is running properly and respectfully intervene when necessaryTrain and mentor othersReport any necessary repairs to the maintenance team or supervisors and report all incidents, damage and near misses immediatelyParticipate in and drive continuous improvement programsLocation and other Key Details:You will work out of our Syncrude Mildred lake or Aurora site in Fort McMurrayIf youresideoutside of Fort McMurray, relocation of your primary residence to within 60 km of Fort McMurray is mandatory.
