In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of boiler and hydronic heating / cooling systems, pumps, valves, and associated waterline work. The ideal candidate will have solid mechanical aptitude, a deep understanding of hydronics, and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, and repair hydronic heating and cooling systems (e.G. boilers, radiant floor heat, fan coils, etc.)Service boilers: perform inspections, start‐ups, burner tuning, combustion analysis, safety & control checksInstall, maintain, or repair pumps, valves, pressure reducing valves, expansion tanks, sensors, and controllersWork on domestic water lines: routing, connections, fittings, leak repair, etc.Interpret and work from mechanical drawings,



schematics, blueprints and specificationsPerform system balancing, pressure / flow testing, and troubleshootingPerform preventive maintenance to ensure systems are operating efficiently and safelyMaintain accurate service records, documentation, and communicate clearly with management and clientsClean and organize work area after job completionRespond to emergency service calls if required (overtime / on-call duties may apply)Required Skills & QualificationsJourneypersonplumber; additional hydronic / HVAC certification is a strong advantageSeveral years (e.G. 3-5+) experience in hydronic heating & cooling system work, boiler service, and pump systemsProficiency in working with pumps, valves, pressure reducing valves, control systems, sensors, thermostatsAbility to read and interpret drawings, plumbing / mechanical schematicsSolid troubleshooting skills; ability to diagnose system issues logicallyFamiliarity with local plumbing / mechanical codes and safety regulationsStrong mechanical aptitude and attention to detailGood physical fitness: ability to lift, climb, bend, work in tight or elevated mechanical roomsValid driver's license and clean driving recordGood communication skills (verbal and written)Ability to work independently and as part of a team; reliability and professionalismWillingness to learn and to keep up to date with new technologies and techniques in hydronics
