scanning equipment to put away and pick inventory for traceabilityShrink wraps goods or otherwise secures and prepares them for transportPicks product from storage locations using the RF and MHE to Shipping area as per processEnsure that stacking of pallets/product is done safely and in an organized mannerKeep aisles and staging areas clear of product once processedOperate in narrow aisles with general warehouse associates walking nearbyPerform housekeeping and 5S dutiesAssist in cycle count and physical inventories.SafetyInspect and perform daily maintenance on assigned forklift trucksMaintain equipment as per checklist and retain appropriate forklift recordsOperate all equipment in a safe and effective manner following OHSA standardsReport safety hazards, quality, and production issues to management immediatelyFollows safety regulations and company guidelines.REQUIRED COMPETENCIESCommunication skillsExcellent written and verbal communicationComputer SkillsKnowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management System)OtherAttention to detailAbility to perform basic mathExcellent time management and organization skills.MINIMUM EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:Minimum high school diploma required.1 to 3 years of experience in a warehouse environmentMust possess a valid certified Forklift license for Sit-down/counterbalance, Reach and Cherry Picker (Order Selector), Dock Stocker, Forklift Clamp and Electric Pallet Jack.Basic working knowledge on computers.WORK ENVIRONMENT:This position may require extended periods of standing and walking for up to 90% of the time. Capable to heavy lift, up to 50 pounds.
