You'll work alongside innovative and team-oriented teammates.You'll play a vital role in ensuring the performance, safety, and compliance of critical components for passenger rail vehicles through advanced simulation and engineering analyses. Day‐to‐day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (structural integrity, supply chain, design, and project teams), contribute to risk assessments, and support qualification testing, and much more.You'll specifically take care of creating and validating finite element models of railway vehicle components, but also contribute to design reviews and provide engineering recommendations to optimize performance and manufacturability.We'll look to you for:Defining qualification and validation plans in accordance with technical specifications and standardsDeveloping specifications for purchased components and collaborating with supply chain teamsPerforming advanced mechanical analyses, including stress analysis,
