We are currently seeking compassionate and motivated individuals to join our team as Casual Relief Residential Support workers.Position OverviewAs a Relief Staff member, you will play a crucial role in supporting our full-time team by stepping in during absences, vacations, or peak times. You will assist in the day-to-day care and supervision of residents, providing support with daily living activities, personal care, and recreational activities.DutiesAssist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming,



and mobility supportProvide companionship and emotional support to individuals with disabilitiesAdminister medications following prescribed schedules and safety protocolsPrepare nutritious mealsPerform cleaning tasks to maintain a safe and hygienic environmentAssist with household chores and errands as neededDocument care provided and communicate effectively with the teamFollow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure client well-beingRequirementsHuman Service Counsellor Diploma ; or eqivalent experienceworking with adults with disabilitiesExperience working with individuals with disabilities or in a care giving role would be considered an asset.Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFlexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, or weekends if requiredValid criminal record check and ability to pass any necessary screening processesBasic caregiving skills such as cleaning, meal preparation, and personal hygiene assistance are essentialFirst Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)Valid Drivers LicenseJob Types: Fixed term contract, CasualPay: From $24.87 per hourWork Location: In person
