ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESOther duties may be assigned.Food Preparation & Kitchen Support (Primary Focus)Prepare and assist with the production of hot and cold food items including short order items, and grab-and-go products following standardized recipes and station guidelinesPerform prep tasks such as measuring, portioning, chopping, and assembling ingredientsEnsure food is prepared and served at proper temperatures and meets quality standardsMaintain portion control and minimize food wasteReplenish food items and supplies during service as requiredFollow all HACCP, food safety, and quality assurance procedures, including temperature logs and production recordsMaintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations before, during, and after serviceCleaning, Sanitation & Dishwashing (Core Responsibility)Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, pots, pans, and utensils in accordance with health and safety standardsMaintain dishwashing areas, garbage stations, and kitchen spaces according to master cleaning schedulesRemove garbage, recycling, and compost and dispose of waste safelyEnsure all work areas, equipment, and smallwares are clean, sanitized,



and organized at all timesAssist with deep cleaning and ongoing sanitation of kitchen and service areasCashier & Customer ServiceOperate a POS system (cash register), processing cash, debit and credit transactions accuratelyEnter all items into the system to ensure accurate sales recordingProvide receipts and ensure efficient, timely serviceInteract with customers in a friendly, professional manner and resolve inquiries or concernsMaintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, including restocking condiments and suppliesGeneral ResponsibilitiesRepresent Compass Group in a courteous, efficient, and professional mannerFollow all company policies, health & safety regulations, and quality assurance standardsComplete required training programs within designated timelinesWork collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen and service operationsAbout you:Previous food service experience is an assetFood Handler Certification preferredAbility to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a teamStrong attention to cleanliness, food safety, and qualityReliable transportation is a requirementWill be required to explicit alcohol and drug test and site orientation prior to joiningMonday to Thursday schedule, and some Fridays if needed.
