Aplin is currently recruiting Electrical & Instrumentation Estimators for several opportunities with established general and main contractors in the Edmonton area.We are looking for Estimators atIntermediate, Senior, and Manager levels, with strong experience estimating electrical and/or instrumentation scopes within the construction or industrial sectors.What You'll Be DoingPreparing detailed electrical and instrumentation cost estimatesReviewing drawings, specifications, tender documents and scopes of workCompleting quantity take-offs and costing for labour, materials and equipmentReviewing subcontractor and supplier pricingDeveloping accurate project budgets and competitive bidsIdentifying project risks, opportunities and constructability considerationsSupporting tender submissions and project planningWorking with project teams, clients, suppliers and subcontractorsWhat We're Looking ForProvenelectrical estimating experience is requiredExperience with electrical and/or instrumentation scopesBackground with ageneral contractor, main contractor or industrial contractoris highly preferredStrong ability to interpret drawings, specifications and tender documentsExperience with quantity take-offs, labour, materials, equipment and project costingExperience in heavy industrial environments is an asset, including:Oil & GasPetrochemicalMiningEnergyManufacturingForestryIndustrial maintenance and turnaroundsStrong communication,
