This quick-paced department demands rapid triage, complex resuscitation, and immediate clinical decision-making.Key Responsibilities:Triage and rapidly assess patients using the Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale (CTAS)Manage complex resuscitations and stabilize critically ill and injured patientsAdminister IV therapy, medications, and emergency interventionsPerform ECG/arrhythmia recognition and monitor cardiac statusCollaborate with emergency physicians, trauma teams, and interprofessional staffProvide patient and family education during critical moments and ensure continuity of careQualificationsMust-Haves:Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) and in good standingNursing diploma or degree from an approved programCurrent BLS/BCLS certificationRecent Emergency Department or comparable acute-care nursing experienceExperience with IV therapy, venipuncture, ECG/arrhythmia recognition, and emergency interventionsStrong assessment, prioritization, communication,
