We are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team and help keep our operations running smoothly and safely.Position SummaryThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for the repair, preventative maintenance, and lubrication of production and facility equipment. This role plays a key part in minimizing downtime, extending equipment life, and ensuring a safe, sanitary, and efficient production environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform equipment repairs and troubleshooting on production machinery, conveyors, packaging equipment, and facility systemsComplete scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) tasks according to established maintenance plans and schedulesPerform routine and scheduled lubrication of equipment components (bearings, chains, gearboxes, etc.) per lubrication schedulesDiagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic/hydraulic issues and determine root causeDocument all work performed, including repairs, PM completions, and parts used, in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and production line stoppages to minimize downtimeIdentify and report potential equipment issues before they result in failureMaintain an organized and stocked supply of spare parts, lubricants, and maintenance materialsFollow all food safety, sanitation, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
