If you're ready to put your skills to work on projects that matter – and build a career with a company that's building North America – we want to hear from you!About The RoleThe Asphalt Plant Operator will be responsible for overseeing the production of asphalt, ensuring proper mixing, quality control, equipment monitoring, safety standards, and process adjustments to meet production goals and specifications.What You'll AccomplishOffload hot asphalt oilOperate and run mixing operations on the asphalt plant and ensure material quality and compliance with specificationsEnsure consistent production to meet daily ordersPerform routine maintenance on heavy equipment and plants including keeping accurate and thorough records of plant performance and productionManage multiple responsibilities simultaneously, including scaling, ticketing, and assisting in asphalt ordersComplete daily checklist, journal and reportsCollaborate with plant operators, truckers, quality control and dispatchProvide excellent customer service to internal and external customers by addressing issues, questions or concerns in a timely mannerContain all spills promptly and notify appropriate authorities immediately, adhering to established written proceduresDemonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.What We're Looking ForEducation:High School Diploma or equivalentRequired Work Experience:At least 2 years of experience in operating and running an asphalt plant,



ideally AstecRequired Technical Skills:MS Office ApplicationsAdditional RequirementsPrevious heavy machinery / equipment experienceCollaborative team player with effective communication skills in EnglishAble to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritiesPossesses a good safety mindset. Must be capable of heavy lifting, bending and twisting as the role requires considerable physical activityMust be available for weekend work, night shifts, and overtime, with the ability to work in various climate conditionsSuccessful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
