We are expanding and looking to add a talented and motivated technician to our Calgary team.The UAV and Robotics Technician, working as a member of the manufacturing team, is responsible for the overall assembly, depot maintenance, overhauls and repairs of FulcrumAir UAVs and Aerial Robotics Systems. In addition to the technical skills explained below, this person must be dynamic, hard working, professional, organized, and forward thinking.A typical day as a UAV and Robotics Technician could include a variety of different tasks such as assembling frame components, installing various electronic and mechanical components, soldering, using adhesives and solvents, building wiring harnesses, removing and replacing components, and a wide variety of other associated tasks.Relevant experience such as electrical assembly, small electronics repair, aircraft maintenance,



or experience with drones/RC vehicles is an asset.Some of the skills that would make a successful UAV and Robotics Technician are:Expert in soldering and circuitryStrong mechanical aptitude with the ability to use a variety of hand and power toolsThorough understanding of wiring and electronicsKnowledge of electronic and mechanical systems troubleshooting and diagnosticsAbility to interpret technical drawingsFamiliarity with manufacturing facilitiesFamiliarity with UAV autopilots, GPS units, radios, and other componentsKnowledge of electric motors and control systemsComputer skillsStrong attention to detailMeticulous organization and housekeepingRequirements include:Driver's license with a clean abstractAbility to conform with FulcrumAir's pre-employment drug and alcohol testing programAbility to lift up to 50lbsPunctuality and professionalismCompleted High School/GEDPreferred qualifications:Applicable technical qualification such as Electrical Engineering Technology, Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, or equivalent3 + years of relevant experienceExpected Interview Stages:45 minute video interview1 hour in-person interview (if possible)FulcrumAir offers a competitive wage and perks, depending on an applicant's skills and experience.
