Det'on Cho Northbest Distributors promotes a positive and supportive workplace focused on growth, teamwork and the care for our employees and are seeking an Office Administrator.What You Will DoThe Office Administrator is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the General Manager and Finance Department, ensuring daily tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. This role requires strong communication skills, time management, and attention to detail.A Day In The LifeManage phone calls, emails, and general correspondence.Organize and maintain physical and digital filing systems.Create and maintain Internals documents.Assist with basic accounting tasks such as processing invoicesEnter PayablesData entry such as receipt of goods.Communicate and coordinate with the warehouse to ensure the invoice is correct, accurate,



and precise.Greet clients and provide good customer service.Provide general support to team members.Monitor and Updating pricing across the sales platformsAssisting with Inventory counts as requiredDocument and Submit Safety Toolbox MeetingsCompile and submit monthly safety stats to the Safety DepartmentPerform other administrative duties as assigned.What You BringHigh School DiplomaPrevious training and/or experience in administration and one to two years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Knowledge of MS OfficeKnowledge of various Sage 50 and/or QuickBooks accounting systemsKnowledge of Human Resources Application systemsVery good organizational skillsVery good interpersonal and communications skills and willingness to work as a member of a teamVery valuable office computer skillsAbility to undertake tasks and responsibilities with minimum supervisionAbility to deal with difficult peopleStrong understanding of the human resource needs and priorities of the CompanyFamiliarity with Yellowknives Dene language, culture and way of life would be considered assetsWe thank all applicants for submissions, however only those shortlisted for an interview will be contacted.Priority Statement: We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace where all employees feel valued and supported.
