As your skills grow, you will gradually assume greater independence and become an integral member of the Med Obs Surg Pall team, contributing to high‐quality care across diverse Med Obs Surg Pall cases.This program provides a 1.0 FTE educational position for up to 12 months, with all course costs, materials and benefits covered. It offers valuable experience in a high‐volume rural hospital, supported by a multidisciplinary team committed to your growth. Acting as an advocate, coordinator and liaison for the patient/resident, the RN identifies needs and sets priorities in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. The RN facilitates patient/resident and family education and discharge planning, and may be required to act in a charge nurse capacity. The RN is responsible for the provision of care in accordance with established standards, and the Mission, Vision, Values, policies and procedures of Covenant Health.
