As a Data Engineering Student, you will work with Data Analysts, Business Systems Analysts and industry experts to deliver fit-for-purpose data pipelines and data products for analytics and data science. You will develop modern data pipelines that extract data from multiple data sources, transform, combine, validate, and load it into a data lake, data warehouse, or application for further analysis and visualization.Job location: Calgary, AB - Head OfficeShift schedule: 5 days on, 2 days off, 8 hours/day (Monday - Friday)Term lengths: 4, 8, & 12 monthsMultiple term starts: January 2027 and May 2027Safety sensitive position: NoKey Accountabilities:Build and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks (PySpark, SQL, Delta Lake) to support enterprise data needsDevelop and manage data lakehouse solutions, ensuring productive data storage, retrieval, and modeling to support analytics and reportingFine-tune performance for queries and data pipelines, ensuring the rapid delivery of critical dataPartner with data scientists, analysts,
