You'll connect with individuals, to offer support, listen without judgement, and help guide them through financial challenges with professionalism and respect.Our downtown Winnipeg office is ready to welcome new team members.What the Role InvolvesAs a Collections Officer, you will:Speak with consumers who've missed payments—some recently, some long‐termEstablish contact through inbound and outbound callsWork within explicit policy and process to offer fair and firm solutionsNegotiate payment arrangements in accordance with client and company guidelinesInvestigate and advise on payment plans and settlement optionsServe as the contact/liaison for your assigned account portfolioDocument calls accurately and meet compliance standardsManage each call with confidence, an empathetic ear, and clear boundariesUphold the CCA Code of Conduct by treating every consumer with integrity, honesty, dignity, and respect.What You BringWe're looking for individuals who are:Strong communicators with excellent verbal and written skillsSkilled in negotiation and conflict resolutionSelf-motivated, goal-oriented, and detail-focusedEthical and professional in all interactionsComfortable working independently and in a fast‐paced team environmentProficient with computers and able to communicate effectively in EnglishExperience in collections, customer service, or call centres is a bonus but not required.
