Your role will include:Electrical Drafting & Design SupportPrepare high-quality electrical design drawings in a timely and efficient mannerDevelop electrical drafting deliverables including:Area Classification DrawingsSingle Line DiagramsMotor Control SchematicsI/O SchematicsPanel DrawingsJunction Box DrawingsGrounding PlansGeneral Arrangements (GAs)Equipment LayoutsAs-Built DrawingsSupport the development of 3D models for electrical systems, including cable tray routing and associated infrastructureEnsure drawings are accurate, complete, and aligned with project requirements and company standardsCoordination & Team CollaborationWork closely with electrical engineers, designers, and other engineering disciplines to develop coordinated designsCommunicate project status, design changes, and technical issues effectively with project teamsParticipate in design reviews and incorporate feedback into drafting deliverablesSupport multidisciplinary coordination to ensure successful project executionProject Execution & DeliveryProduce electrical design deliverables in accordance with project scope, schedule, and quality requirementsManage multiple assignments simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlinesSupport project teams throughout the design lifecycle from concept through constructionContribute to continuous improvement initiatives and drafting best practicesConstruction & Field SupportAssist with updates and revisions to drawings during construction and commissioning phasesSupport the preparation of as-built documentationRespond to drafting-related queries and support engineering teams in resolving design issuesSafety, Quality & ComplianceFollow established drafting, engineering, and document control proceduresEnsure compliance with applicable company standards, client requirements, and industry practicesMaintain drawing quality, consistency, and revision control throughout project executionDemonstrate commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvementAbout YouYou are an experienced drafting professional who enjoys producing quality work, collaborating with engineering teams, and contributing to successful project outcomes. You bring:Diploma or Certificate in Design and Drafting (required)Minimum 5 years of Electrical Design Drafting experience within an EPCM environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively within fast-paced project teamsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesTechnical FoundationStrong understanding of electrical drafting and design practices within the oil and gas industryExperience preparing electrical design deliverables for industrial facilities projectsKnowledge of cable tray systems, grounding systems, electrical layouts, and control systems drawingsUnderstanding of drafting standards, drawing management, and revision control processesEPCM facilities design experience requiredSoftware ProficiencyAdvanced proficiency with AutoCADWorking knowledge of Bentley AutoPLANT, AutoCAD Fabrication MEP, and CADWorxProficiency with Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office applicationsFamiliarity with 3D modeling and multidisciplinary design environments
