JOB DESCRIPTIONUnder the direct supervision of the Manager, Operations, this position is responsible for providing outstanding customer service while contributing to a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members. Ensures adherence to the Company's policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian's learning workplace while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.Position SummaryUnder the direct supervision of the Manager, Operations, this position is responsible for providing outstanding customer service while contributing to a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members. Ensures adherence to the Company's policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian's learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work workplace for all team members.Key AccountabilitiesAnswers guest services switchboard; informs or re-directs calls accordinglyGreets guests in person; offers information on the facility, events and promotionsProviding information on the facility, bag and coat check, special events and promotionsAbility to make clear concise announcements on drawings, events and special promotions over a PA systemSoliciting, identifying and enrolling new gaming customers into the Encore Rewards programMaintaining Encore Rewards programMaintaining all services standardsMaintain current knowledge/familiarity with all resort services and features including promotions and offeringsMaintaining highest standard of professionalism, ethics, grooming and attitude towards guests, clients and associatesConducts guests to other areas as requested; conducts facility toursMaintains waiting lists for table games and the Poker RoomResponds to,



resolves or escalates issues as requiredCommunicates effectively with all appropriate operational departmentsBuilds strong working relationships with guests and team membersEnsures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulationsPerforms other duties as assigned or directedEducation And QualificationsHigh School DiplomaMinimum one year of experience in customer service; gaming experience an assetAbility to successfully obtain a Gaming LicenseAbility to stand for long periods of timeA commitment to continually increase your knowledge of our products and services in order to offer exceptional experiences to our guestsAbility to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communicationSince the fun never stops at Shorelines, candidates must be ready and willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnights, based on business needs.Work Environment ConsiderationsRegular casino environment, standing for long periods of time, some elements of danger, some exposure to the elements, some exposure to noise, some exposure to verbal, non-traditional work hoursAbout UsWho we are!GREAT ENTERTAINMENT.
