The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 plus years' experience working Dozer in the Oilsands.Location/Job DetailsSite: Fort HillsSchedule: 12-hour days (paid for 11.5 hours). 14 days on, 7 off. 14 nights on, 7 off.Accommodations: Camp accommodation is provided.Transportation: Flights are provided to and from Edmonton or Calgary. Bus ing provided from Fort McMurray to the site (before and after rotation).Overtime: After 8 hours in a day and after 40 hours in a weekWhat You'll Be DoingOperate D9 - D11 Dozers and various sizes and models of Dozers required to complete assigned workThis position involves ripping above the shovel and supporting shovels out at the site as requestedRead stakes and be able to place a grade as neededEnsure compliance with all company, client,



and legislated safety policies, operating standards, and proceduresUsing adequate and suitable safety equipment, including PPEReviewing safe work plans/ hazard assessment before job commencement and follow all requirementsComplete equipment/ area walk-arounds, safety checks, and field-level risk assessments, and ensure all equipment is running properlyReport any necessary or anticipated repairs to the maintenance team or supervisors immediatelyReport all incidents, near misses or damage immediatelyCompensation/BenefitsOT after 8 hours per day.$2.00 per hour increase after 90 days, subject to a successful performance review.9.6% Vacation and Statutory Holiday pay on all regular hours paid out bi-weekly.Extended health, dental, vision, travel, and paramedical coverage after 90 days.AD&D, life insurance, and dependent life insurance after 90 days.$300/year health care spending account.Employee Assistance and virtual health programs.Growth opportunities.QualificationsMinimum 2-3 years of experience operating Dozers D9 to D11Willing and able to work in soft ground conditions (Muskeg) and rip frost above shovelsMinimum one year of experience in a mining atmosphere preferredFamiliar and comfortable working in a production environmentMust be able to follow instructions to ensure safe equipment operationA safety-first attitudeAttentive and possess strong listening skillsBe proficient in English, both verbally and in writingHave a valid Class 5 Driver's License
