The LPN works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to support the health, comfort, dignity, and quality of life of residents.Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – CasualKey ResponsibilitiesProvide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with individualized care plansAdminister medications and treatments safely and accuratelyComplete resident assessments and monitor changes in health statusDocument care, observations, incidents, and interventions accurately and promptlyCommunicate changes in resident condition to the appropriate physician, nurse, family member, or member of the care teamProvide direction and support to Health Care Assistants and other care staffParticipate in care conferences, shift reports,



and interdisciplinary communicationRespond appropriately to emergencies and unexpected changes in resident conditionMaintain resident privacy, dignity, confidentiality, and safetyFollow infection prevention and control practices, occupational health and safety requirements, and organizational policiesQualificationsCurrent registration and valuable standing with the B.C. College of Nurses and MidwivesCurrent CPR certificationCompletion of an approved Licensed Practical Nurse programPrevious experience in long-term care, seniors care, or a similar setting is preferredStrong communication, documentation, assessment, and organizational skillsAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary teamDemonstrated compassion, professionalism, reliability, and sound clinical judgmentPosition DetailsThis is a casual position with shifts offered based on operational requirements and employee availability.
