This full-time temporary position allows you to create enriching experiences for seniors in your community.The Recreation Aide works closely with the Therapeutic Recreation Manager to develop and facilitate programs that address the holistic needs of residents. Your role will involve collaborating with team members to ensure a positive environment while respecting each resident's individual rights and dignity.Key Responsibilities:Assist in the development and implementation of recreation servicesPromote and coordinate social activities, outings, and craftsDocument and report resident feedback to supervisorsMaintain a protected and clean environment for activitiesSupport new staff during orientation and training sessionsRequirements:Grade 12 education with relevant diploma preferredPrevious experience in a senior care environment a plusMust hold a valid Class 4 BC Driver's LicenseSatisfactory completion of a background check requiredAbility to engage effectively with seniors and staffDeliver impactful recreational services that enhance the community experience for our residents at West Coast Seniors Housing Management.
