wind and hydroelectric power generation.We are actively growing our Accounting Team and hiring for a Senior Financial Accountant to join our Green Energy team on-site in our Vancouver head office.Responsibilities:Prepares financial statements and internal management reports and assists with day-to-day accounting functions for a portfolio of companies and projectsPrepare and review journal entries and accounts payableEnsures accuracy of accounting transactions and manages accounts and bank reconciliation processesPrepares and reviews intercompany and related party transactions, at entity and consolidation levelCompiles year-end audit working papers and liaises with auditorsPrepares partnership and corporate tax returnsCompiles annual operating budgetsConducts variance analysisProvides administrative support to the management as required.Other duties may be required.Requirements:Minimum of 4 years' experience in accounting related positionCPA DesignationAttention to detail and accuracy in all areas of workExcellent people skills and robust written and verbal communication skillsAble to multi-task, work well under pressure and meet deadlinesCompetent in the use of Microsoft applications – Excel, Word, OutlookGood team player, self-motivated and willing to learnWhat we offer:Internal growth opportunitiesPlease note, only qualified candidates will be contacted
