This individual must be personable, a master at establishing and maintaining relationships with both new and existing clientele, and have the ability to juggle several tasks or projects at the same time.Compensation for this position consists of a base wage plus uncapped commission.Primary Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):Maintain excellent customer service and qualified attitudeRegular communication with the Store ManagerAttend fitness team meetings as required (either in person or via teams)Networking with potential and current customersAssisting customers looking to purchase products/services while educating them in the product lines that Flaman Fitness suppliesBecome knowledgeable and remain up-to-date with all products/lines carriedMaking product suggestions according to the wants and needs of customersLocating prospective customers, generating them into leads and eventually converting them to customersCreate quotes and sale ordersAchieve objectives through effective planning and setting sales goalsMeet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goalsCapturing customers information to follow up and increase closing ratesFollowing up with potential customers that have received quotes on a semi-annual basisFrequently checking open orders and invoices when necessary to keep inventory and accounts receivables accurateContact customers for collections of accounts receivables on past due accounts when necessaryFollow up post purchase with customer to provide after sales support, including annual check-ins to ensure customer satisfactionAssist in organizing and maintaining a welcoming and clean showroom, back room storage spaceLoading and unloading of fitness equipment (heavy lifting)Asist with regular inventory countsOther duties as required and/or tasked by ManagerWeekend availability and occasional overtime may be necessarySkills and Qualifications:Knowledge of fitness equipment with a strong interest in Fitness and Healthy Living (preferred)Highschool diploma or equivalentMinimum 2 years experience in a similar sales role (preferred)Recognize the importance of building strong, lasting relationships with customers,



vendors and co-workersProficient with technology, computers applications, including Microsoft Office(word/excel), POS systems and inventory/invoicing software programsProficient budgeting skills with valuable understanding of profit & lossStrong organizational skills, attention to detail and excellent follow-throughStrong problem solving and troubleshooting skillsAbility to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlinesProfessional, team player with a positive "can do" attitudeExceptional work ethic and driven to obtain goalsHave a good understanding of company policies and proceduresMust be able to safely lift heavy products up to 55 lbs. on your ownMust be able to safely lift heavy products, with team lifts over 100 lbs.May be required to take, and submit results for drug & alcohol testing as per third party safety protocolsValid Class 5 driver's license, clean driver's abstract and satisfactory criminal record checkWe are an equal opportunity employer, committed to workforce diversity.
