Working within departmental policies and qualified standards, the technologist independently conducts exams, ensures image quality, and provides compassionate patient care before, during, and after procedures.Key responsibilities include patient identification and preparation, selection of appropriate technical factors, evaluation of images, safe use of contrast media where applicable, equipment operation and basic troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration with the healthcare team.Graduate of a certified Radiation Technology program and a certified Ultrasound Technology programCurrent active member in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO), qualified to practice in both modalities: Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) and Medical Radiation Technology (MRT)Competent in producing quality radiographs and images; maintains clinical competence through continuing educationKnowledge of Meditech and Enterprise ImagingExcellent communication, teamwork, time management, and judgmentRegistration with ARDMS, OAMRS,
