JOB DESCRIPTIONWe are currently looking for a Building Manager/Concierge for a 7-floor residential building with 60 units in Vancouver. This is a part-time position that combines Building Manager, Concierge, and Cleaning responsibilities. The Building Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations, maintenance, and safety of the property while also assisting with concierge duties and maintaining the cleanliness of common areas. This role ensures the building operates efficiently while providing a clean, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors.KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESProgram key fobs, enter-phones, and email communicationChecks of all common areas (Hallway, mechanical, electrical)Monthly fire safety checklist (required by City Fire Department)Regular cleanup of mechanical, electrical and storage roomsBasic security detail: checking doors, reporting suspicious activityReporting back to strata manager, and strata councilHigh level security detail: asking people to leave, checking camera footage.Monthly reports to strata council and strata managerMeeting with trades, spending time with them, and reporting back to strataMeeting with residents, listening to them and resolve basic issues.Attending council meeting upon inviting.Attending to in-suite issues such as water leaks, doors, windows and reporting backBasic mechanical,



electrical troubleshooting from extensive industry experiencePicking up and delivering essential items and suppliesCompleting basic telecommunication, and computer troubleshootingIn the absence of the concierge, the Building Manager will provide support with tasks such as move-ins and move-outs, enterphone management, and fob requests.QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTSProven experience in facility management, preferably in residential settingsExperience with pool testing and maintenance is preferred.
