This role is to recruit for an existing vacancy.The position will be on an 8 days on, 6 days off (10.5 – hour day) roster and will be based residentially in Red Lake, Ontario.We offer a competitive salary, bonus structure and future growth. The compensation range for this role is $104,610 to $141,531 CAD.Key result areas in this role include:Research and develop improvements of processing operation and gold recoveries and optimize the use of consumables.Develop policies and procedures related to process improvements.Set parameters for process plant to ensure it is operated in the safest, cost-effective and most efficient manner for optimum recovery.Compile and issue daily and monthly metallurgical balance sheets.Troubleshoot production and process problems and make recommendations for improvements.Improve procedures for processing bullion.Assist with the supervision of Met techs/refiners as needed to cover for days off or vacation.Involved in mill projects ie installation and commissioning of new equipment and processes.Maintain inventory of mill consumables (e.G. reagents, liquid oxygen, grinding media).Maintain concentrate inventory in and outside the millComplete assigned project work for potential plant efficiencies or expansionNuclear Density Gauge program: maintain site compliance with CNSCWork in a healthy work environment with full support, cooperation and commitment to satisfy our operation's goal of being accident-free.Comply with federal and provincial acts and regulations, and legal requirements.Adhere to all relevant corporate policies and procedures.Perform other duties as assigned.About youAs a Metallurgist,



you will have a bachelot's degree in Metallurgical Engineering or a similar discipline.
