The responsibility of the Registered Nurse is the promotion of health and the assessment of, the provision of care of, and the treatment of health conditions by supportive, preventative, therapeutic and rehabilitative means to patients in order to attain, maintain or return to optimal function. This includes knowledge and application of Canadian best practice guidelines and principles.QUALIFICATIONSRequired:Current Registration with the College of Nurses of OntarioPhysical Assessment course or equivalentRehabilitation nursing experience within the last 3-5 yearsFIM (Functional Independence Measure) certificationNeuro-Developmental Treatment certification (NDT)Demonstrated Experience using principles of adult education and knowledge translationDemonstrated knowledge and application of Canadian Stroke Best Practice GuidelinesVenipunctures to establish an IV requiredIV medications below the drip chamberCentral line care - including tubing,
