School Bus Driver Part Time - OTTAWA West Routes2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicantsPay RangeBase pay range CA$23.00/yr - CA$23.00/yrYour roleYou are responsible for safely transporting what we call "the most precious cargo" to and from schoolEnsure students' safety while boarding and exiting busesBe responsible for performing pre/post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure optimal vehicle safetyHelp fuel and maintain the cleanliness of the busRequirementsYou are safety focusedYou hold a valid minimum full Ontario G class drivers license, Preference will be given to B class driversYou are 21 years of age or overYou possess clean driving record and criminal record search with vulnerable sector screeningYou have a sound knowledge of the Ottawa West region and surrounding areasYou have the ability to work independentlyYou are available for the required split shifts of 4-5 hours total, that could run: Monday - Friday between 6:30am - 9:30am and 1:30pm - 5pmYou possess solid communication skills.
