This opportunity is calling for you if you are looking to become a part of a strong motivated team in a rapid-paced industry where your talent matters!This position is responsible for scheduling drivers, assigning vehicles, overseeing daily activities of drivers, liaising with the detailing department, maintaining operating procedures and other duties as assigned.Responsibilities:Identifies and schedules drivers (weekly, daily)Identifies vehicle availability and assigns vehicles to work typesParticipated in the On-Call Emergency Line RotationAssists drivers with routing directions and logisticsResponds to emergency calls, facilitates emergency response network, and assigns rescue buses and driversCommunicates route assignments, last minute changes,



any other event that will disrupt service or routingCommunicate mechanical issues to our onsite motor coach service centreLiaises with onsite detailing department to ensure vehicles are clean and readyMaintains high compliance to dispatch standard operating proceduresHandles customer concerns and requests for information in an expeditious and professional manner.Escalates unresolved issues to management as appropriate.Assets:Extensive geographical knowledge of the Maritimes (as well as Newfoundland, Ontario, Quebec and NE USA also an asset)Previous dispatch or logistics experiencePrevious experience with computerized scheduling systems an assetQualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDHigh level of computer proficiency (in word, excel); Exceptional organizational skills (detail oriented)Great communication skills - interpersonal and phoneThrives in a fast-paced environment under pressureStrong problem solver by traitNatural multi-tasker (great at prioritizing tasks)Dental careExtended health careLTDLifeAD&DPaid vacationPaid sick timeRRSP matchVision care4 @ 10 hour shift rotationFree parking on-site
