That means owning the close and reporting cycle, rebuilding the forecast model, tracking KPIs, running the year-end audit end to end, and taking ownership of the commercial modeling work - enterprise pricing, gross margin, usage-based pricing. You will also manage a Finance Manager who owns day-to-day controllership.Key ResponsibilitiesPlanning, Modeling & Business PartneringRebuild the forecast model and own annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and cash flow managementSet and model next year's revenue, ARR, and top-of-funnel targetsOwn gross margin analysis and the levers behind it, including delivery model, org structure, and hosting costsBuild enterprise and usage-based pricing models to a target margin, and defend them with the commercial teamDefine and build the SaaS metrics the business reports on, from first principles rather than a templatePartner with commercial, professional services, engineering, marketing, and HR on budget, headcount, and vendor negotiationsReporting, Close & ComplianceOversee month-end close and budget-versus-actuals delivered by the Finance Manager and external bookkeepersRun the year-end audit end to end, including technical accounting papers and audit committee materialsDraft quarterly board and investor reporting packages that need review,
