Our ideal candidate will have an established presence in the Prairie Region (Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba), with the option to work remotely or from our Saskatoon Office.Job SummaryLiaising directly with our Vancouver-based Head Office, the Senior Grain Merchandiser (Prairie Region) will take ownership, oversee, strategize, and grow the profitability of their assigned area within our current book of business. You will represent the Constantini brand using your exceptional relationship building skills, integrity, and competitive nature to qualify,



negotiate and close sales in a collaborative and quick cycle environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain extensive and varied business relationships within an assigned marketplaceActively drive business growth by developing relationships with new customers and suppliers, in existing and new product categoriesNegotiate purchase and/or sales contracts with customers and/or suppliers, and ensure all contracts are properly executedManage risk by making recommendations on short/long positions, and executing these positions within defined risk parametersMonitor and set example of "Best in Class" customer service levelsModel an internal culture of professionalism, healthy competition and collaborationRequirementsMinimum of 10 years' experience in physical commodity trading, buying, or merchandising – bulk grains, pulses, and/or oilseeds considered an assetExceptional negotiation, time management, interpersonal, and communication skillsDemonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and work effectively with othersProfessional and resilient attitude with desire to achieve greatnessThis is a key position with significant opportunity to impact the success of our organization and your own personal growth.
