The Electrical Planner plays a key role in planning and coordinating electrical maintenance activities within the Bar Mill. This position is ideal for a motivated, mechanically inclined skilled with strong electrical expertise who is looking to advance their career in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:Plan and schedule short-term and long-term maintenance activities, including routine downtime and major shutdowns, with a focus on minimizing breakdowns and meeting budget targetsPrioritize work effectively to support equipment reliability and ensure accurate time and resource estimatesDevelop detailed work packages and maintenance plans for electrical jobs within the Bar MillCollaborate with other planners and technical specialists to coordinate all related work orders within assigned areasMaintain optimal inventory levels of spare parts and consumables in coordination with storesContinuously improve maintenance planning, scheduling,



and data integrity processesProvide regular reports on planning and scheduling activitiesSupport emergency situations with troubleshooting and planning assistanceMonitor CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) usage and provide feedback to leadership for continuous improvementCoordinate, manage, and supervise contractorsDevelop maintenance and project budgets and estimatesEnsure safety is integrated into all planning and execution processes, including Job Safety Analyses (JSAs)Lead and participate in planning and scheduling meetingsQualifications & Skills:Journeyperson Electrician Certification, Electrical Technologist Diploma or equivalent3 + years of experience in Electrical Planning3 + years of hands-on experience installing and maintaining electrical systemsExperience working with a CMMS programStrong verbal and written communication skillsExperience working as a maintenance planner is considered an asset
