Join our team and help drive organizational excellence through corporate planning, performance measurement, and data-informed decision-making.Under the supervision of the Manager, the Corporate Planning and Reporting Analyst provides project management expertise, technical and analytical support, and advice and recommendations to ministry staff to facilitate the timely and efficient production and implementation of business planning and reporting processes to meet legislated requirements.The Corporate Planning & Reporting Analyst will provide coordination, consultation, quality control, and project management to support the ministry's strategic, business, and operational planning, reporting, executive performance agreements, and enterprise risk management. Deliverables include ministry business and operational plans, ministry annual report, risk reports, executive performance agreements, briefings and binders. The Corporate Planning & Reporting Analyst solicits and coordinates input from throughout the ministry and edits it to make sure it is ready for internal and external publication. This work is required to meet the government's public accountability requirements under the Fiscal Planning and Transparency Act, with guidance and direction from Treasury Board and Finance, Executive Council and the Office of the Auditor General.To be effective in this role, the incumbent will need to be a strong communicator (verbally and in writing) and able to build relationships throughout the ministry to influence and support outcomes. Political acumen, agility,
and the ability to approach politically sensitive matters in a confidential, proactive, and positive manner are necessary.
