You enjoy working in both field and laboratory environments and take pride in producing accurate, high-quality results. Success in this role means supporting safe, productive project delivery while continuing to build technical expertise and share knowledge within the team.A Day in the LifePrimary responsibilities include but are not limited to:Assist the Field Lead in conducting field and laboratory testing of soils, aggregate, and concretePerform a variety of materials testing in both lab and field environmentsSupport the coordination of on-site laboratory testing facilitiesAssist with maintaining laboratory certifications and quality standardsCommunicate test results and provide technical input to internal teams and external clientsWork collaboratively with cross-disciplinary teams to meet project schedules and quality expectationsEnsure safety procedures are followed at all times in the field and labCoordinate field equipment and assist with routine maintenance and calibration of testing instrumentsSupport and learn from senior staff while contributing to team successWhat You'll Bring to the TeamEnrollment in, or completion of, a Civil Engineering Technology diploma (asset, not required)Previous lab or field experience in materials testing is an asset; students and entry-level candidates are encouraged to applyCCIL and/or CSA certifications are preferred but not requiredStrong attention to detail and technical aptitudeExcellent communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work safely and effectively in field conditionsWillingness to learn, take direction, and grow within a collaborative environmentWhat's in it for You?We believe that a happy and fulfilled team leads to exceptional results.
