ARMO Technician - Assembly I

Are you passionate about hands-on mechanical work and assembling complex components to meet quality standards? Partnering with the Best As an ARMO Technician - Assembly I, you will assemble complex components in accordance with assembly drawings and bills of material. You will perform functional testing on assemblies and test completed work according to customer and/or division criteria. You will operate test equipment in compliance with engineering standards while applying settings, calibrating and maintaining assembly tools, and supporting the safe and accurate completion of assembly activities.

As an ARMO Technician - Assembly I, you will use your mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting abilities, and hands-on skills to support the assembly and testing of complex components. You will interpret assembly blueprints, follow written and verbal work instructions, accurately use measuring instruments, and apply your understanding of component form and function to complete assemblies safely and effectively, including assemblies where drawings or documentation may not be available.

As an ARMO Technician - Assembly I, you will be responsible for:

• Assembling complex components in accordance with assembly drawings and bills of material.
• Performing functional testing on completed assemblies.
• Testing assemblies in accordance with customer and/or division criteria.
• Operating test equipment in compliance with applicable engineering standards.
• Applying appropriate settings and calibrating and maintaining assembly tools.
• Performing torquing activities on various components as required.
• Distributing quality notifications (QNs) as required.
• Reading and interpreting assembly blueprints to support accurate assembly activities.
• Following written and verbal work instructions when completing assigned tasks.
• Applying an understanding of the form and function of assembly components when completing assemblies where drawings or documentation may not be available.
• Using measuring instruments accurately to support assembly requirements.
• Applying troubleshooting skills to identify and address assembly-related issues.
• Using hand tools safely and effectively when completing assembly activities.
• Operating cranes, hoists, and pallet jacks as required.
• Working effectively as part of a team and with minimal supervision while following established safety procedures.

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Be mechanically inclined with a good understanding of mechanical assembly activities.
• Be proficient in reading and interpreting assembly blueprints.
• Have the ability to follow written and verbal work instructions accurately.
• Have excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Have a basic understanding of the form and function of assembly components.
• Have the ability to accurately use measuring instruments.
• Have the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Be able to work collaboratively and effectively as part of a team.
• Have the ability to follow established safety procedures while performing assigned work.
• Be able to stand for the majority of the work shift.
• Be able to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to occasionally push or pull up to 10 pounds of force.
• Be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements while using hand tools.
• Have the ability to operate a crane, hoist, and pallet jack as required.
• Have the ability to work on Mon-Fri 2:30pm - 11:00pm

This is a hands-on assembly position that requires standing for the majority of the shift and performing repetitive hand and wrist movements while using hand tools. The position requires the ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds, occasionally push or pull up to 10 pounds of force, and safely operate cranes, hoists, and pallet jacks as required.
