We are looking for motivated, customer-focused individuals to join our team as an Area Manager II at our YYZ1 fulfillment centre in Mississauga, ON.In this role, you will lead a team of up to 80 hourly associates and will be responsible for engaging your team during shifts to maintain the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance. You will also play a key role in maintaining customer expectations to ensure orders are delivered at the right time, to the right location.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforceManage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promisesCollaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources teams to develop plans to meet business objectivesDiagnose root causes of performance gaps using advanced analyticsFacilitate alignment meetings with senior leadership on department-level goalsConduct planning sessions with your team, coaching through operational challenges and developing leadership capabilitiesLift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reachStand/walk for up to 12 hours during shiftsWork in environments with variable temperatures, noise levels,



and weather conditionsContinuously climb and descend stairs where applicableBasic Qualifications2+ years of employee and performance management experienceBachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experienceAbility to work a versatile schedule including weekends, nights, and/or holidaysPreferred Qualifications1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experienceExperience managing large teams of 50+ membersExperience with Lean Six Sigma and/or KaizenBachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or related fieldExperience in shipping/logistics, manufacturing, hospitality, healthcare, retail, or customer-facing environmentsCompensation & BenefitsBase salary range: $75,000 – $105,000 CAD annually. Total compensation may include sign-on payments and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
