Nurses in this field focus on prevention and protection, population, population health, surveillance, emergency preparedness and health promotion.The Public Health Nurse in the Infectious Disease program should have a working knowledge of communicable disease surveillance practices, case and contact management for Diseases of Public Health S (DOPHS), including Tuberculosis and be comfortable engaging with equity deserving populations,
