and promotions between vendors and customersResearch product for customers and provide recommendations on our assortment of productsEnter, pick and pack sales orders generated at the counterProvide exceptional assistance to in-store customersMaintain and clean the counter area including any merchandising displaysMonitor internal stock and inform purchasing team about potential low inventory levelsFollow up on backorders with vendors and provide customer with accurate delivery datesProcess returns to customers both on account and through cash salesRespond to afterhours emergency calls according to scheduleParticipate in an annual inventory countQualification/Experience:Strong customer service skillsKnowledge of HVAC industry and parts considered an assetHigh School Diploma, HVACR, or trade experienceKnowledge of products sold in HVACR industry; preference given to those with in-depth knowledge of hydronicsMinimum 2 years of experience with customer service or counter sales in a wholesale/distribution environmentOutstanding history of building and fostering strong relationships with customers, vendors and teammatesComprehensive product knowledge and willingness to continually learn about new product offeringsForklift experience is an assetAbility to learn and operate order processing software (Eclipse)Additional Requirements:Working remotely is not an option.Salary/Benefits:Competitive compensation and benefits package.
