The list will remain in effect for up to six months.POSITION FUNCTIONAssist in the construction of forms and placing of concrete for curbs, gutters and sidewalks.KEY DUTIESOperate various hand and power equipment such as shovels, jackhammers and concrete saws to prepare sites for concrete work such as sidewalks, curbs, gutters and driveways; lift and load broken concrete; erect, strip and clean forms; operate vehicle to pickup and deliver construction materials; act as padman to directthe operation of various construction and excavation equipment.Assist in constructing forms to grades and alignments established from grade sheets and control points; assist with setting pins and arms to control the alignment of the curb extruder.Place concrete by shovelling and levelling; assist with first stagejointing and edging; apply various curing compounds; assist in finishing exposed aggregate concrete by brooming and clean-up, and other activities such as pattern stamping, setting castings, electrical boxes,
