This individual's primary role will involve design using AutoCAD Civil 3D on a variety of municipal infrastructure and land development projects for our municipal, First Nation, and private sector clients in the BC Interior.Key ResponsibilitiesWhile the specific role will depend on the individual's experience and interests,



some responsibilities may include the following:Design of infrastructure using AutoCAD Civil 3D including creation of earthworks, site grading plans, road design, and water/sewer/storm infrastructure plan & profilesTopographic, construction layout, and as-built surveyConstruction field inspection and reportingWorking with diverse teams of Qualified Engineers, EITs, and technologistsVisits to project sites.What We're Looking For5 – 10 years' experience in a civil engineering technology role, preferably in municipal infrastructure designGraduate of a Civil Engineering Technology programRegistered or eligible to register with ASTTBC as an Applied Science TechnologistProficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D grading, pipe networks, and corridorsProficiency in creating and reading civil infrastructure drawingsExperience with MMCD is an assetExperience with field inspections is an assetExperience in GIS/ESRI software is an assetStrong written English and verbal communication skillsAn outgoing, positive personality with client-driven perspectiveExcellent organization and planning skillsCommitment, energy and a strong work ethicClass 5 Drivers License and personal vehicle are requiredThe annual salary range for this position is $85,000 – $100,000 depending on experience.Join Our Team!
