The main areas of focus include welding competence, meeting production requirements, station set up, health & safety and quality control.ResponsibilitiesWeld steel components with welding equipment as specified by layouts, engineering drawings, work order actions, or verbal instructions ensuring that tolerances are metClean work area and equipment, grind or chip excess metal from welded productsInspect and correct welds as necessary to meet quality specificationsRead, understand, and follow job order specifications, engineering drawings, and/or work ordersComplete mechanical installation of bolted assemblesEnsure equipment and tools are in good working condition, reporting maintenance services when requiredComplete tasks while adhering to Health & Safety policies and proceduresQualifications1-2 years of welding experienceManufacturing experience is an assetAbility and interest to gain CWB certificationAble to lift and maneuver 50 pounds repeatedlyAbility to work within confined spacesFamiliarity with the use of Jigs & fixturesWhy AGI?We're leading the way in global food supply chain solutions and here's how: We're the leading global expert in providing farmers, processors and commercial customers with the right equipment and customized engineering solutions to produce, protect and deliver the world's grain, fertilizer, seed, feed and food supplies.
