Job DescriptionTo be eligible for Pomerleau's internship program, you must meet the following criteria:Be legally authorized to work in Canada at the time of application and for the entire duration of the internship.Reside in Canada at the time of application and for the entire duration of the internship.Be duly enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution or have graduated from such an institution within no more than six (6) months prior to the internship start date.If you graduated more than six (6) months ago, please refer to our permanent job opportunities.Join Pomerleau as a GIS Data Analyst Intern and gain hands-on experience supporting major construction projects across Canada through geospatial data management, GIS standards development, and spatial analysis.What you will doSupport the GIS / VDC team in maintaining, structuring, and updating geospatial data related to active construction projectsContribute to the development and improvement of GIS standards, data models, naming conventions, and best practices across the organizationProduce maps, dashboards, and GIS visualizations to support preconstruction, estimation, risk, environmental, and operations teamsPerform spatial analyses (site constraints, logistics, accessibility, environmental considerations)Integrate, transform, and validate data from multiple sources (CAD, Excel, databases, GIS services) using tools such as FMEWork with spatial and relational databases to ensure data quality, consistency,
