you will:Communicate dispatch information to DriversMonitor and respond to driver's satellite messagesParticipate in and support driver retention initiativesCollaborate with Customer Service and Planning teams to efficiently solve problemsMaintain fair and equitable distribution of workMonitor driver performance and milesCoach driver's regarding customs, hazmat, hours of service, policy, regulations, satellitesDevelop solutions for any driver inquiriesUpdate customer websitesCommunicate & problem solve with customers as requiredOther duties as assignedQualifications:We're looking for someone who brings:Education & Experience:Minimum of 2 years truckload dispatch experience is an assetMust have a minimum of 1 year of Customer Service experienceWorking knowledge of the North American transportation industryACE and Customs/border crossing experience an assetExperience with EDM (or similar dispatch systems) is considered an assetSkills & Attributes:Keen interest in building relationships with your team of drivers and co-workersDesire to urgently resolve incidents that occur while driver is delivering their loadExhibits a conscious effort to understand the causes instead of just the effects of a situationCompletes daily tasks autonomously, but enjoys collaborating with others when solving problemsAbility to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines in a quick-paced environmentMeticulous attention to detailGood communications skills (written and verbal)Intermediate level computer skills and proficient keyboarding
