The Production Supervisor leads a team of unionized hourly employees in the plant. Through coordinating with various departments, the Production Supervisor ensures that production requirements are met to assist in the smooth flow of order to delivery, all while adhering and contributing to a strong safety culture.Responsibilities:Ensure all safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices are followedEnsure compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations, standards, and company policiesParticipate in Operational Health & Safety Committee meetings and safety initiativesConduct safety, quality, and LEAN audits and investigationsLead, coach, and support a team of unionized employees to achieve production, quality, and safety objectivesProvide training, cross-training, and ongoing development opportunities to enhance employee skills, knowledge,



and workforce flexibilityCoordinate and schedule production activities to meet operational requirementsIssue work orders to crew leaders and ensure accurate completion and closure of work ordersMonitor daily production performance and provide regular status updatesParticipate in daily production meetingsAssist Engineering in troubleshooting and resolving production-related issuesAssist Administration with purchasing activities and material planningWork collaboratively with other departments to support efficient operations and the timely delivery of customer ordersReview and approve employee time and attendance recordsApprove and coordinate employee vacation schedulesAssist with disciplinary processes as requiredIdentify and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and operational efficiencyProvide backup support for other branch positions as requiredPerform other duties and responsibilities as assignedQualifications:Experience in Manufacturing, Agriculture, Mechanical, or Industrial industriesInnovative, ability to identify and implement new processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the team and projectDeveloped communication skills, written/oralStrong interpersonal skillsSelf-motivatedEnthusiasm for challenge and new initiativesAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team environmentThorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes,
