General Manager – High-End Restaurant – Old MontrealWe are currently seeking a General Manager to lead a well-established restaurant located in the heart of Old Montreal.Established for several decades, the restaurant welcomes both local and international guests in one of Montreal's most iconic neighbourhoods. Its operations combine à la carte dining, group dining, private events, and banquets, creating a diverse and dynamic environment.Above all, we are looking for a people-focused and engaging leader who can bring together an experienced management team, support the development of their managers, and foster robust collaboration across departments.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the overall management and day-to-day performance of the restaurantLead, coach, and develop the management teamFoster strong collaboration between front-of-house, kitchen, and events teamsMaintain high standards of service, guest experience, and operational qualityOversee financial planning and monitor key performance indicatorsContribute to the development and implementation of the restaurant's strategic directionEnsure smooth and efficient operations during high-volume periodsPromote employee engagement, satisfaction, and developmentWork closely with the organization's various support functionsAnticipate operational and staffing needs based on business levelsMaintain a strong presence on the floor and ensure seamless communication across departmentsCandidate ProfileExperience as a General Manager, Director of Operations, or in a comparable restaurant leadership roleSignificant experience in a high-volume restaurant environmentExperience leading and developing a management teamStrong knowledge of restaurant operations and financial managementA people-focused, engaging, and approachable leadership styleAbility to coach, inspire,
