You will provide guidance to junior level and field technical staff, serve as Engineer of Record (EoR), or provide design engineering support on project assignments.ResponsibilitiesPreparing proposals and scopes and budgetsSupporting geotechnical site investigationsConducting geotechnical analysis and preparing geotechnical reportsSupporting design submissions such as issued for permit drawings and issued for construction drawingsPreparing Letters of Assurance documents to the Building Authority, as requiredSupporting project construction meetings and technical inquiriesConducting field reviews to support EoR quality assurance work and preparing field review reportingPreparing design memos/letters during construction, as requiredPreparing Letters of Compliance documents to the Building Authority, as requiredPreparing/supporting close‐out documents,



as requiredQualificationsBachelor's degree in civil or geological engineeringRegistration as a qualified engineer with Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia (EGBC)5 to 8 years of relevant experienceStrong technical, problem‐solving, decision‐making, and attention‐to‐detail and accuracy skillsTeam player with proven ability to work as a member of project teamsExcellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsStrong computer skills using MS Word, Excel, and AutoCADExperience in engineering programs such as gINT, SlopeW, MSEW, etc.Valid driver's license to travel to and from client office and project sitesProject management experience is an assetThe salary range for this role is between $105,000 to $125,000.
