And we're just getting started!About the RoleWe're looking for a Senior Accountant to play a central role in our monthly close process and general ledger accounting. You'll report to the Manager, Accounting and work closely with the broader accounting, tax, and finance operations teams. Our company reports under IFRS with multiple legal entities, and our hardware-enabled SaaS model means you'll get exposure to both a wide variety of accounting areas.What You'll DoPrepare and post journal entries for the monthly close, including accruals, prepaids, and revenue/COGS entriesPrepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely mannerSupport consolidation of financials,



including intercompany transactions and FX considerationsMaintain fixed asset schedules and related depreciation entriesSupport preparation of audit schedules and respond to auditor requestsAssist with the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedulesIdentify opportunities to improve or automate manual close processesPartner with Finance Operations (P2P/O2C) to ensure accurate cutoff and proper recording of transactionsSupport ad hoc analysis and special projects as requested by the Manager, AccountingMust HaveBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance2-4 years of accounting experience, ideally including month-end close responsibilitiesCPA/CA completed or in progressWorking knowledge of IFRS or a strong foundation in GAAP with a willingness to learn IFRS-specific nuancesExperience with ERP systems (e.G., NetSuite) and strong Excel skillsDetail-oriented, organized, and able to manage close deadlinesStrong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working across teamsPreferred ExperienceComfortable using AI tools to support reconciliation, variance analysis, and documentation — no prior experience required, but curiosity to learn is a plusExposure to multi-entity or multi-currency accountingExperience in a SaaS, hardware, or hybrid hardware/software businessExperience supporting external auditsSecurity RequirementsCandidates must undergo a criminal records check upon hire; Be a Canadian Citizen (dual citizens included),
