The Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of frontline employees to safely achieve operational, productivity, quality, and customer service objectives within a fast-paced distribution environment at Canadian Tire's AJ Billes Distribution Centre in Brampton, ON. As the primary communication link between frontline employees and management, the Supervisor ensures effective execution of daily operating plans, provides coaching and performance feedback, and supports continuous improvement initiatives.ResponsibilitiesManage workflow, staffing, labour allocation, and operational priorities; lead daily execution ofshift plans to achieve productivity, quality, and service objectivesServe as key holder, responsible for security of the facility; assist in areas relating to loss prevention, security, and safety controlsPlay a key role in assisting with Health & Safety initiatives by ensuring all members adhere to proper safety procedures and protocolsProvide regular coaching and guidance to all team members pertaining to work expectations, accountability, development, and deliverablesUtilize data and reporting tools to drive informed decisionsConduct annual performance evaluations in accordance with demonstrated work deliverables and behaviours; set objectives for teammembers aligned with business objectivesMotivate and mentor coaches, designated trainers, and team membersCoordinate resources across departments to support building-wide operational goalsRequirementsMinimum 3 years of experience in a distribution, warehouse, retail distribution,



manufacturing, or logistics environmentExperience leading frontline teams in a fast-paced operationStrong understanding of safety practices and operational processes; commitment to safety excellence with a demonstrated safety recordCertified Designated Trainer (Train-the-Trainer certification), WHMIS/Chemical Handling certification, and TDG knowledge considered an assetStrong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skillsProven ability to build and maintain positive working relationships across teamsExperience reviewing and acting on performance metricsStrong communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams)Experience with WMS, labour management systems, voice technology, RF technology, automation systems, DCCS or similar operational systems considered an assetAbility to work full time 3:45 PM – 1:45 AM, Crew 4Compensation & BenefitsHourly rate starts at $29.00 with annual step progression.
