This role requires hands‐on technical expertise, strong problem‐solving skills, and the ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative property management team.The successful candidate will have solid working knowledge of HVAC systems, along with general skills in building maintenance, repairs, and safety practices.Primary ResponsibilitiesRespond to and complete maintenance requests as assigned, reporting progress and updates to the Property ManagerMaintain accurate maintenance records, including maintenance logs and boiler room logs, documenting work completed, time spent, and materials usedPerform general maintenance and repair tasks, including carpentry, painting, plumbing, and basic electrical workInspect, clean, and repair building fixtures and components such as lights, locks, windows, doors, screens, walls, floors,



gutters, and drainsOperate, monitor, and perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on HVAC equipment and related systemsConduct daily preventative maintenance activities, including inspections of garbage chutes, storage areas, boiler rooms, and secured entry and exit pointsEnsure maintenance issues are resolved in a timely manner and in accordance with work order requestsOrder supplies and materials as required, retaining receipts and submitting documentation to the Property ManagerTrack and itemize materials purchased, assigning costs to the appropriate unit or projectParticipate in an on‐call rotation to respond to after‐hours emergencies, including maintenance Issues, lockouts, and other urgent mattersPerform other duties as required to support property operationsSecondary school diploma or equivalentGas fitter 1 and 313A refrigeration license are requiredMinimum of 2 years of related maintenance or building operations experienceWorking knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systemsStrong maintenance skills with the ability to safely use tools and equipmentExcellent problem‐solving and troubleshooting activitiesStrong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracyAbility to multitask and manage competing priorities in a quick‐paced environmentAbility to safely lift and carry items weighing up to 75 pounds.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a teamAvailability for a flexible schedule, including on‐call rotations as requiredDemonstrates a professional, respectful, and calm demeanor when interacting with residents, tenants, and team membersStrong verbal and written communication skills in EnglishComprehensive Health and Dental planRRSP MatchingContinuous Learning ProgramCareer advancement opportunitiesEmployee Assistance Program
