We are currently requesting resumes for the following position: Benefits ConsultantResume Due Date: Wednesday, April 15th, 2026 (5:00PM EST)Job ID: 26-042Number of Vacancies: 1Level: Band IDuration: 12 MonthsHours of work: 35 hours per weekLocation: 1908 Colonel Sam Drive, OshawaWork Mode: 100% on SiteHourly Rate: $41.61Job OverviewProvide guidance and advice to employees regarding benefit offerings, eligibility, and processes.Respond to inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.AdministrationOversee the day-to-day administration of benefit programs, including enrollment, changes, terminations, and retirements.Ensure accurate record-keeping and timely processing of transactions.Data ManagementMaintain and update databases with member information, including data from third-party plan administrators.Ensure data integrity and confidentiality.Perform benefit membership and adjudication data reconciliation, analysis and reviewCalculationsPerform pension-related calculations, such as service credits, retirement estimates, and benefit entitlements.Communicate results clearly to membersCustomer ServiceAct as a primary point of contact for members and vendors, offering excellent customer service and building positive relationshipsEducation & CommunicationEducate members on plan features, administrative processes, and changes to programs.Prepare and deliver presentations or written materials as needed.ComplianceEnsure all perks programs comply with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.Assist with audits and reporting as required.Process ImprovementIdentify opportunities to streamline administrative processes and improve the member experienceQualificationsPost-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related fieldMinimum of 3 years' experience in benefits administration or consultingStrong understanding of benefits programs,
