This role is based at our facility in Langley, BC and reports to the Plant Manager.Job SummaryAs Maintenance Manager, the successful candidate will support the daily functions of the Maintenance department. In addition, they will provide technical support & expertise on equipment and building maintenance projects including installation, design & costing.Principal ResponsibilitiesOversee the functions related to maintenance, engineering, and plant projectsMonitor & schedule maintenance activities for plant equipment & the buildingDevelop, implement & maintain a preventative maintenance program that will maximize the productivity of the equipment/toolingManage the capital budget expenditures for the facility as they relate to the maintenance departmentAnalyze job costing and material reports and review financial records to ensure projects are in line with the budgetSource recent process equipment and materials, research benchmarking of new processes for continuous improvement to meet changing needsMonitor and manage the energy control, live work and working at heights programs including developing & reviewing work instructionsMaintain contractor management program and act as an onsite project supervisor to contractors, third parties or employees for projects to run according to schedule and prepare progress reportsMaintain accurate and up to date reference manuals and materials for all equipment & machineryQualifications & ExperienceDegree/Diploma in a technical field,
